Old School Knife Works

J Culpepper & Company has been in the supply end of the knife industry since 1976.  Specializing in knife handle materials, we manufacture for cutlery companies all over the world.  In 2007, Joe and Kristi Culpepper purchased the Old Otto School and began manufacturing their handle materials from that location.  In 2009, they opened Old School Knife Works to utilize their expanded space for finished cutlery as well as an outlet for their handle materials.

Today, they operate one of the largest cutlery stores in the Southeast and specialize in vintage and new knives, buying knives  as well as hosting a live sale two nights a week on the Facebook profile Joe Culpepper OSKW.

Restoring the old Otto School and retrofitting it to serve as their business hub is one of the most rewarding aspects in their company history.
